Watching Obama’s speech at the Clinton Global Initiative*, I did not detect the JIVE TURKEY accent he adopts when he’s speaking to the people (ahem).

I’m curious about the debate. Will he want to sound intelligent (or as best he can) like today, or like a fucking street thug (or as best he can) as he does when stumping?
I find it interesting that he doesn’t pull either one off very well.
