I have a BIG problem with the pronouncing of the word NUCLEAR as
“Nuke-Yuh-Ler".
The word is spelled N U C L E A R.
That is to say Nu-Clear.
NU-KLEE-UR as it were.

It bothers me that my President says “Nuke-Yuh-Lur".

It bothers me that on my favourite TV show 24, Kiefer S. says “Nuke-Yuh-Lur".
I understand why he does that or is forced to do that, politically speaking, but it is still annoying.
It perpetuates ignorance which is already rampant on TV.

So anyway, to my utter dismay, S. Palin says “Nuke-Yuh-Ler".

Unhappily, I associate that intellect with the ask/axe ratio.

I hope she discreetly corrects that.
